About My Beliefs

I am a Christian.

I am a Catholic.

I am a Christ-lover, Christ-follower.

Therefore, I support, in full, the teachings of the Catholic Church – which are comprised of Scripture and Tradition together with the Deposit of Faith and the Magisterium – including but not limited to her stance on abortion, contraception, homosexuality, the sanctity of marriage and the dignity of the human person, male and female complementarity, the priesthood, the Pope, the Sacraments, and her views on Mariology.

I believe in the Trinity, God the Father, Christ Jesus – 100 percent human and 100 percent God – and the Holy Spirit.

I believe in spiritual warfare, between angels and demons and us.

I believe in Mary’s Immaculate Conception, her dual motherhood and virginity, in her Blessed Assumption and Coronation.

I believe in the veneration, but not the adoration, of Mary and saints.

I believe that you do not have to be Catholic to get to heaven, in accordance with the Church’s teachings, but people of all beliefs have the opportunity to be reunited with God in eternity.

I believe in the Presence of Christ in the Eucharist.

I believe in Jesus as my Savior.

I believe in the redeeming power of suffering.

I believe in and hope in love, charity, sacrifice, honor, virtue, chastity, modesty, purity, and humility.

I believe the Bible is life-giving and life-affirming.

For those of you who do not understand some of these things, or do not agree, but wish to delve further into my beliefs so as to deepen or expand yours – please seek me out.
